Dear Parents and Caregivers in the Junior Pods

We have a child in Room 22 (old library) who has a major allergic reaction to eggs, peanuts and cows milk. They know that they are not to eat or share other people’s food and they have an epi pen should any such reaction occur.

The reason for informing you is that should they come in contact with someone that has been eating eggs ( hard boiled or egg sandwiches) or nuts, they will have a reaction requiring the use of an epi pen.

We acknowledge that this could be difficult in a school situation but want to alert parents as we really hope that such a situation will not occur. We are sending this information to the whole of the Junior school as they eat together.

Thank you
Explorers Teachers
