Term 3 Newsletter

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

We look forward to Term 3 being an exciting term with
our whole school Performance of Seussical Junior.

In Mathematics along with Numeracy our strand focus is Measurement.
We will be learning about time.

In Physical Education we will continue with our usual fitness programme and we will also focus on ball skills.
The children will be writing and orally presenting their own mihi later in the term.

If your child is scheduled to have a reporting conference this term you will receive a
letter outlining the time and booking details.  Keep an eye out for this in the next week.

Thank you to all those parents who come and help in the classroom.  We are always grateful for an extra set of hands, eyes and ears.  If you would like to help with either reading at 9.10 or writing at 10.10 please let either Helen or Michelle know.

Dear Parents and Caregivers in the Junior Pods

We have a child in Room 22 (old library) who has a major allergic reaction to eggs, peanuts and cows milk. They know that they are not to eat or share other people’s food and they have an epi pen should any such reaction occur.

The reason for informing you is that should they come in contact with someone that has been eating eggs ( hard boiled or egg sandwiches) or nuts, they will have a reaction requiring the use of an epi pen.

We acknowledge that this could be difficult in a school situation but want to alert parents as we really hope that such a situation will not occur. We are sending this information to the whole of the Junior school as they eat together.

Thank you
